How to request deletion
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, please contact us by emailing hello@zuvees.ae or click the button below to open your email client with a pre-filled subject.
- Please send the registered email address and any identifying details.
- We will confirm receipt within 48 hours.
- Account deletion will be completed within 7 days.
Important: Order history limitation
If you have placed any orders with us, we cannot fully delete your account.
Shopify requires merchants to retain customer information for any accounts with order history. This is a platform limitation to maintain order records, transaction history, and comply with legal requirements.
For accounts WITH orders: We can anonymize your data by removing personal identifiers while keeping the order records intact as required by Shopify and applicable laws.
For accounts WITHOUT orders: We can completely delete your account and all associated data.
What we can delete or anonymize
Depending on whether you have order history, we will:
- Delete or anonymize your profile information (email, name, contact details).
- Remove account preferences and settings.
- Delete activity logs and browsing history within our app.
- Remove authentication tokens and session data.
- Delete any media, uploaded files or messages you've shared through our app.
Data retention & legal requirements
Certain records may be retained for legal, accounting, tax or fraud-prevention reasons:
- Transaction records, invoices and order history: retained for up to 7 years as required by law.
- Security logs and fraud prevention data: retained for up to 90 days.
- Automatic system backups that may contain deleted data: purged within 90 days.
After these retention periods, all data will be permanently and securely deleted from our systems.
