Privacy Policy for Zuvees Online Flowers & Gifts

Divyakavi Tech Pvt Ltd ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") operates the Zuvees Online Flowers & Gifts mobile application (Zuvees). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our App or interact with our services.

The Zuvees Online Flowers & Gifts App is directly synchronized with our website zuvees.ae, which also operates on Shopify. Both the App and website share the same product catalog, inventory, and customer accounts. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of the App immediately.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information Stored in Our App Database

We store minimal customer information required to operate the App and link it with your Shopify account:

  • Customer ID (internal auto-generated ID)
  • Shopify Customer Source ID
  • Email address
  • Refresh token (for secure login sessions)
  • Product Data (JSON synced from Shopify; contains no personal data)
  • Contact Information (from your device, only if you allow) Used solely to help you save recipient details (name, phone, relation) for gifting, if you choose to save a relation in the app. We access your contacts only with your explicit permission and do not use them for any other purpose.

We do NOT store passwords, payment information, addresses, phone numbers, or order history in our app database. Those are handled by Shopify.

1.2 Information Shopify Collects

Shopify directly collects and stores name, phone number, address, payment information, order details, billing & shipping information. Shopify's privacy policy applies:https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.

1.3 Information the App Automatically Collects

The App automatically collects limited technical data used for performance and diagnostics:

  • Device type and operating system
  • App version
  • IP address
  • Session status (logged-in/out)
  • Crash logs & performance diagnostics

We do NOT collect precise location, camera, microphone, contacts, or files.

2. Mobile Permissions

The Zuvees Online Flowers & Gifts App does not request or require any device permissions.

All information such as delivery addresses is entered manually by the user. When needed, the App may redirect you to our secure Shopify checkout page in an in-app browser or your device browser. This process does not use any device permissions.

The App does NOT request access to:

  • Camera
  • Photos or Media Library
  • Location (precise or background)
  • Microphone
  • File System or Storage
  • Push Notifications

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Authenticate your account and maintain secure login sessions
  • Display products and product details synced from Shopify
  • Improve app stability, performance, and fix crashes
  • Ensure compatibility across devices and app versions

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with trusted parties required to operate the App:

  • Shopify (orders, accounts, checkout)
  • Service providers (Expo, Expo analytics & crash reporting)
  • Social login providers (Google, Apple)

Business Transfers:

Technical Safeguards

  • HTTPS / TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Secure token-based authentication for account protection
  • Expo SecureStore and/or AsyncStorage for safely storing session tokens
  • Regular security reviews and vulnerability monitoring

While we aim to protect your data, no system is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain refresh tokens while accounts are active (or until logout/deletion), keep product JSON synced from Shopify, and maintain crash logs per provider retention settings. You can request deletion at any time.

6.1 Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Zuvees Online Flowers & Gifts account and any app-specific data at any time. Once we receive a verified deletion request:

  • App-stored data (customer ID, Shopify source ID, refresh token) will be permanently deleted
  • Shopify-stored information will follow Shopify’s deletion process
  • Technical logs, analytics data, and crash diagnostics are deleted according to provider retention policies
  • All deletions follow industry-standard secure-removal methods

7. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, and to opt out of marketing. To exercise rights, contact us at:

  • Right to Access / Know: You may request access to personal information that we hold about you, including details of how we use and share it.
  • Right to Delete: You may request that we delete personal information we maintain about you.
